What does the work schedule look like?
We follow a standard 5-and-a-half-day work week with 2nd and 4th Saturdays fully off. That means two long weekends every month. On the working Saturdays, we wrap by mid-day and start things off with a team breakfast on us. We’re an in-office team because we believe great agency work happens when people are in the same room, but we keep the schedule humane and predictable.
How long does the hiring process take?
Typically 2-3 weeks from application to offer. Our four-step process is designed to be respectful of your time, with feedback at every stage. We aim to give you a final decision within 5 business days of your last interview.
What does growth look like at The Ocean Marketing?
We have documented role levels with clear criteria for each promotion. You’ll have a quarterly review with your lead to track progress, set goals, and identify what’s needed for the next step. Many of our senior team members started as juniors and grew with us. We prefer promoting from within whenever possible.

Yes. We run a paid internship program for fresh graduates and final-year students, primarily in SEO, content, and design. Internships typically run for 3-6 months, and strong performers are often offered full-time roles. Check our openings page or email us directly to learn about the next intake.
What tools and software do you use?
Our stack includes Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Surfer SEO, Google Analytics, Search Console, and Tag Manager on the SEO side. Designers use Figma, Adobe CC, WordPress, Elementor, and Shopify. Project management runs on Teamwork and ClickUp. We provide paid access to everything you need to do your job well.
Is the salary competitive?
Yes. We benchmark compensation against agency market rates twice a year and adjust accordingly. Beyond base salary, we offer performance bonuses, certification reimbursements, health coverage, and equipment stipends. We discuss specific ranges openly during the interview process.
